While traveling around Japan, you may prefer to enjoy famous Japanese cuisine. It might be quite natural for travelers.
Still, I strongly recommend you try some of the Japanese Bakeries. After traveling around countries in America, Canada and some of the countries in Europe, I believe Japanese Bakeries are truly excellent.
I don't buy any of those from the shops either inside or near the station exit, though. Some bakeries shops in Department stores are there because they could satisfied a lot of Japanese sensitive taste, therefore highly recommend. Although some are the branches of the famous European shops, others are baked and owned by Japanese.
